Regents Review Class Expectations

Regents Review Classes -- Expectations

Regents/FLACs review classes are taught by a certified teacher who has experience teaching the course.  The review classes are designed to coordinate and complement in-class review. Review materials will be posted online for students who can’t attend.

During review classes, students can expect to:

  • Review the structure and components of the exam
  • Review a different topic/exam section during each session
  • Practice regents questions (multiple choice, reading comprehension, short answer, essay, etc.) and go over the content necessary to clarify misunderstandings
  • Review test-taking strategies (how to organize/outline essays, eliminate wrong answers, etc.) and avoid common pitfalls. And, in World Language, students practice the speaking section of the exam.
