RESCHEDULED Technology & Your Child – Mentor, Not Just Monitor!
Wednesday May 29th @ 7:00 PM – Stewart School
*Please note: This meeting will replace the June 4th 9:00am meeting*

At the request of Miss Norton and Mrs. Hand, we are adding a special meeting to our calendar to address issues regarding Internet safety that have come up recently in our school and community including:
  • MoMo scare
  • Inappropriate YouTube content
  • Group texting issues
The Internet has drastically changed the way our children interact with the world. They have access to in-depth knowledge, tools to express their creativity, and people from all over the world. Yet along with offering a fascinating way to connect with the world, the Internet also offers risk.

Stewart School’s Mrs. Judith Conforti, District Technology Staff Developer, Lauren Maguire and Police Officer Steve Roumeliotis from the Garden City Police Department will lead a discussion that address these issues as well as tools you can use to help navigate technology and mentor your child, not just monitor.

Please join us to hear this important presentation. Parents from all schools are invited to attend. Register at:
