The PTA has worked collaboratively with the school district to create the first district wide spirit day on the 14th of October.
The high school began their week with comfy cozy day, tie-dye day and battle of the classes. The high school has arranged for several of the cheerleaders and football players to visit the elementary and primary schools. Craft activities are planned for grades K-2; a poster contest for grades 3-12 and viewing areas have been designated along the Homecoming Parade route for primary children and their families.
Ask your children how they celebrated “Spirit Day” in their school!
Spirit Day will culminate with the annual Homecoming Parade at 12 noon, on Saturday October 15th, including marching bands from all schools, floats and entertainment followed by the Garden City varsity football game at 2pm at the Warren King Field.
Wear your Grey and Maroon or your Spirit day t-shirt.
Go Garden City!
