THE GARDEN CITY PTA IS ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS

The Nominating Committee of the PTA is accepting nominations for the Middle School Director for the 2012-2013 school year.  A few of the responsibilities of the Director include:

• Communicate with parents and administration regarding middle school developments.
• Put together a PTA board and work with them to make sure all PTA run events go smoothly.
• Help organize class parties
• Attend monthly Executive meetings
• Attend bi -monthly Superintendent meetings
• Plan the agenda and organize 4 daytime PTA meetings and 1 evening PTA meeting.
• Meet with the Middle School Principal on a monthly basis to gather information and updates about the Middle School.
• Participate in planning meetings to develop district calendar.
