Dear Friend of Garden City PTA,

            “Together we can…” That is the theme of the Garden City PTA Annual Dinner, to be held on March 24, 2011.

They say it takes a village to raise a child.  Here in our village, we are blessed with tremendous support from the community, including teachers and administrators that share the vision that our children become all that they were meant to be.  We need your support to make certain our children are successful.

The PTA Annual Dinner is our most important fundraiser of the year, with more than 450 people expected to attend.   Hopefully, you will be among those attending!  Raffle sales are our most successful way to raise funds.  Raffle prizes historically have included beautiful baskets containing various products or gift certificates for certain services.  We are asking that you confirm your support for the PTA by making a contribution.  If some of you work from home or have your own home-based businesses, you may be in a position to donate products or services, gift certificates or gift cards.  In appreciation, we will publish the names of all who have made donations in the PTA Dinner Program and in the Garden City News.  What a wonderful way to support your children and promote your business!

            The families of Garden City have traditionally been most generous and we hope we can count on your support this year.
