Nominating
The Nominating Committee is a group of elected volunteers whose purpose is to discuss and vote on  nominees for open PTA Executive Committee positions.

The nominating committee consists of 13 members and 8 alternates.  Each school is represented on the nominating committee as follows:

  • High School - 2 representatives and 1 alternate
  • Middle School - 2 representatives and 1 alternate
  • Stewart School - 2 representatives and 1 alternate
  • Stratford School - 2 representatives and 1 alternate
  • Hemlock School - 1 representative and 1 alternate
  • Homestead School - 1 representative and 1 alternate
  • Locust School - 1 representative and 1 alternate

In addition there are 2 representatives and 1 alternate from the PTA Executive Board.

The nominating committee meets 1-3 times in January to elect the new pta slate. We meet in the day time usually around 9-11:30AM
