Stewart School Report

Wow, it is May!

Minecraft Camp Returned to Stewart School. Our 5th graders experienced Game Builders Minecraft workshop courtesy of the PTA! The students had a wonderful time, bringing their social studies curriculum to life - building old New York. Your support of the PTA makes these events possible. Thank you!

Stewart School Staff Appreciation Lunch: May 19th. This event is not possible without the generous support of our Stewart School families. Click HERE to donate - there is something for every culinary level. Thank you in advance for your support.

Our final
Stewart PTA meeting and thank you breakfast will take place on Thursday, June 1st, at 9:30 am, at Stewart School.

I would like to welcome Donna Kraus, who will be the Stewart Director next year. Donna will officially take office on July 1st. We will be working together to finish up this year and plan for next year. If you would like to be more involved at Stewart next year - there are many opportunities. Please email me at stewart@gardencitypta.org

Talking about next year, Stewart School needs two Site-Base parent representatives

What is Site Base Committee? The purpose of school-based planning and shared decision-making is to improve the educational performance of all students in our schools. The PTA is responsible for selecting the PTA parent members to serve on the district’s Site-Based committees. If selected for this committee, you will work directly with administrators, teachers, students, and parents addressing issues that may arise at the school level.

If you are interested, click here and apply today. Applications are due soon so don't delay!

Thank you,

Maria Zografos, Stewart PTA Director
